It is said that ‘no bird fouls its own nest’, but that is not true in case of man who has always contested against nature and won dishonestly. Slaughtered forests, exhausting resources, global warming, and burning rivers — all these brutal scars on the face of Mother Nature are prophecy of a probable doom. Alas, we are knowingly heading towards a Malthusian catastrophe. There is a knowing why, but there is a need to know what now! Man must understand that we have not inherited the earth from our ancestors but borrowed it from our children. Some simple changes in your lifestyle can help in turning the wheel and make the world go greener. Do your bit to save the Earth and save a pretty penny for your pocket as well. Incorporate these 10 easy yet effective measures and GO GREEN:

Instead of using light bulbs in daylight, open curtains and make the most of natural sunlight. Before buying any electrical equipment, look for the energy start rating. More the stars, lesser is the energy consumption.
