Love truly has no boundaries or is neither confined only between particular stereotypes. It can between two brothers separated by seas and national borders; it can be between a little girl and her puppy dog separated by the walls of her classroom; it can even be for someone who you have never met before in your life. But no matter between whom it prevails, it leaves us no clue on to how it appeared in the first place. But here we will try to explore why this strong emotion we feel for another person has always remained an unexplorable enigma.
10. Love has no reason
A lot of times we feel anger or hatred for someone even though there may be no proper reason for such aggressive yet strong reactions. Though it’s pretty easy to line up love with these petty emotions, unlike hatred or anger or jealousy, love stays on forever. I mean it’s not easy to have love for someone one day and not the other; love takes ample time to fade away and in many cases it never does. So love for someone can appear out of nowhere, but it continues to prevail for the same no apparent reason, that’s why love is so inexplicable.
9. Love is Mutual
True love doesn’t actually require anything to survive, and in all cases it only receives more or less the same reaction from the ones you show it to. I mean, when was the last time you were so stressed out or bogged down in your world that you didn’t even find time to smile back at a gesture of love. Probably never, and that’s exactly why love remains to be an emotion that evades explanation. It always seems to arise out of another’s compassion and seems to progress seamlessly across borders and barriers. Sometimes even hatred can provoke love making it more of a mystery.
8. It is a natural Inheritance
Nature always has her secrets, and probably the biggest secret that she beholds that no advancement in science can explain is the undaunted feeling we have for those who are close to us – called love. Right from the most ferocious beasts to the most timid sea dwellers, love is found almost everywhere. And though it is compelling to reason it as motherly love, there have been many cases where love has surpassed this broad classification. So definitely one of the reasons why love remains so mysterious is just because its nature.
7. Love resolves any emotion
Whether its anger or sadness or empathy or pity, love always seems to resolve them all provide us a sense of peacefulness in our hearts. So let’s say you see a poor child frowning in poverty begging for alms amidst the proceedings of a busy day. Of course we all feel a bit annoyed for being disturbed, and later we feel sad for her and finally we show her some pity and provide something to ease her suffering. But once you begin to feel a love for her, all those previous emotions fade away giving a sense of accomplishment to the heart. Truly that’s why love has no reason and is so undefinable.
6. The cause behind our survival
Since the dawn of civilization love has been the only thing that has been protecting us from falling into sea of war and bloodshed and return back to the time when we were animals. It is our constant urge to look after one another, and select someone special to show intimate affection that has made out survival possible. Since we have been accustomed to doing it over the centuries we have never really sorted out a reason for loving someone and it has rather become a distinguishing characteristic of humans. So naturally, it has become an object of enigma for all of us.
5. Truth precedes love
When you look back into your own history of events you would realize that telling the truth has never been a necessity but rather an option that can be taken for granted. But yet most of us chose the right way and chose to speak the truth; the reason? Probably only gave us the peace of mind, probably it made us feel better, or probably you realizes nothing bad could happen from it. But no matter what the reason may be behind telling a truth, you would have always receive love in return for doing the right thing. So as telling the truth quite unexplainable itself, so is love.
4. Defining it makes more inexplicable
This probably sounds like a no brainer, but have you ever tried to explain the meaning of love to anyone. Because if you did, you would know that trying to do such a thing would only make it even more inexplicable. So let’s say you have undefined love for your niece, and try to list out the reasons for it. As you make the list you will realize a lot of reason not to love her, but yet you end up loving her even more. So, apparently as long as love is inexplicable or as long as it has no reason it’s stronger, and that’s probably why we have so much difficulty understanding it.
3. With love comes great courage
It’s not just in B-movies that you see a seemingly apparent nerd turn into a villain thrashing superhero; it happens in real life as well. But be careful not to confuse courage with rudeness, as rudeness is fuelled by hatred whereas courage is fuelled by love. True to the word, courage helps out those who are in dire need, and leads to some of the most amazing human feats possible. This seemingly mystical force that we define love, enables it followers to truly achieve in life, making it something that can only be experienced and never understood.
2. The circle of Love
The reason why it is so hard to define love is that it is not confined to one person or just group. It’s a result of never ending cycle that repeats through time and geography. So let’s say you show love towards someone for probably some reason, which makes the receiver to believe in good. He does the same to another, but this time for no reason, but just for the faith he has in good. So the cycle just goes on, making it extremely harder to just pinpoint one reason for loving someone.
1. Love is what that unites all sentient beings
Just like we can’t explain god or happiness to a person, love similarly is unexplainable too. But it’s not because we don’t see it or only receive it intermittently. But it is due to the fact that it permeates through us all connecting all lives right from the small burrows to the high flying hawk all the time; and something as great as that can never be explained with any number of words.
