Emergency kits are not only to be kept at your home but also to be carried in your car. While having an emergency kit at home is perfectly fine, not having one while driving is not okay. You’re more likely to meet with accidents when you’re out and driving or maybe when you’re at work. You can either buy an emergency kit or assemble the items together yourself. Emergency kits come in handy, however they are neither heavy nor do they take up a huge amount of your space. An ideal emergency kit contains a fire extinguisher, a first-aid box, gloves, drinking water, non-perishable snacks, warm blanket, duct tape, rags, tow rope, car litter, jumper cables, tire gauge, foam tire sealant, extra batteries for the water-proof flashlight, multipurpose utility tool, rain poncho, etc. So, get an emergency kit for your car right now! I promise road trips will be more fun from now on.

There will be a ton of situations where you be indebted to your emergency kit. Imagine a flat tire. Or running out of fuel. We watch the news and read in newspapers how men, women and children are left stranded for days. How do you know the same won’t happen to you? You can never be sure where you will be, in case a catastrophe comes about. So if the earthquakes and landslides are taken as a warning, it will do us good. No one expects these things to happen, nonetheless they do. Under such circumstances, it’s upto us how well we prepare ourselves.
